Ok so I’ll confess… I used the same ingredients for the salmon except I swapped olive oil for butter and added white wine and made a mustard glaze for it while it was cooking instead of adding the butter at the end. It turned out very tasty! I think I just need to bite the bullet and get used to cooking with butter again, my Vegan days creep back into my cooking and just jack shit up, but I’m slowly getting past it with every glass of wine.
And now my second confession- I’m a retard. Just because the lentil bag has green writing on the outside doesn’t mean they are green lentils, and there is even a huge paragraph about that at the beginning of the recipe too. It’s not as bad as when I plugged the extension cord into itself the other day and wondered why my lamp wouldn’t turn on, but it was a mistake that made my brown lentils turn out mushy. They really do look like an olive green color through the bag.
And so did my bikini that I plan to actually someday wear with pride.
No it’s not rainbow-colored.
