Duck Burgers! Of the 24th and a Half CENTURY!!!

Teeheehee…  I made burgers.  Out of ground duck, parmesan, and basil..  
And Jas’s homemade buns..
And red-wine onions…
Topped with dolce gorgonzola, and arugula, and tomato…

And homemade french fries..  

It was really, really good.  Wow.
Why is there not ground duck anywhere I wonder?
Why is this beautiful thing not abundant on restaurant menus?

If you don’t grind your own meat this is something to consider..  And really the overall theme of this post.
I have the Kitchen Aid attachment.  Betty Crocker as that may sound, it’s actually the shit.
I can buy whatever meat I want and grind it.
That’s kinda awesome.

Like today.  Awesome.

And Jas’s buns were amazing…

    The fries?? Seriously if you haven't had them yet, she really needs to make them for you. Wow.
