The baker outdid himself this weekend.

Apologies for the delay, turns out I did in-fact have a hospital stay. And you know what, the stock cubes worked.
I have no idea how, in our advanced age, people are still expected to subside on popsicles and jello during hospital stays where clear liquids are the only source of sustenance.
There are some situations where you may be up all night without being able to eat, and our bodies need more than sugar.
The homemade stock cubes really worked, and with the growing “bone broth” trend (*eyes rolling*) who knows, maybe people, and hospitals, will get wiser to other alternatives besides things that come in packages.
Jason – that bread looks awesome! May just have to have some while we all are packing out! YES?!! Yes, I think you should patent your soup broth and sell it to all hospitals or birthing centers. Absolutely right, jello and popsicles are not real food! Great for tonsillectomy!!
